Low-Temperature Electrolysis Capabilities
H2NEW has a suite of easily accessible research and development capabilities for low-temperature water electrolysis (LTE), specifically proton exchange membrane water electrolysis and liquid alkaline water electrolysis.
Search and browse capabilities by class, component, national laboratory, and keywords. Also see our high-temperature electrolysis capabilities.
Fabrication of porous layers of Ti or other metals via tapecasting and sintering. Multilayer structures are fabricated with different pore size, metal particle size, porosity, etc. in each layer. Unique structures can be fabricated by addition of phase inversion or freeze casting to the tapecasting setup. Laser processing systems can be used to modify PTL surface to increase interfacial contact without adding a microporous layer.
